Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This policy explains what information the Law Offices of Ronald A. Stearney & Associates collects through this website, how it is used, and how it is protected.

Information we collect

This website collects information only when you choose to send it to us. If you use the contact form, we collect the name, email address, telephone number, matter type, and message that you provide.

We do not use cookies for advertising, and we do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers on this site.

Our hosting provider automatically records standard technical information such as IP addresses and browser types in server logs, as virtually all web servers do. This information is not used to identify individual visitors.

How we use your information

Information you submit through the contact form is used solely to respond to your inquiry and to evaluate whether the firm is able to assist you. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

Contact form submissions and confidentiality

Submitting the contact form does not create an attorney-client relationship. Until we have agreed in writing to represent you, information you send is not protected by the attorney-client privilege.

For that reason, please do not send confidential, sensitive, or time-critical information through this website. Call the office instead.

Service providers

This website is hosted by Netlify, and contact form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify’s form service before being delivered to us by email. Our email is hosted by Microsoft. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms.

Retention

We retain contact form submissions only as long as necessary to respond to the inquiry and to maintain our records. Submissions that do not result in representation are deleted periodically.

Security

This website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information sent to us electronically.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

This site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
